We were delighted to be invited to Uxbridge College’s Freshers Fair which was held at the Uxbridge campus on Tuesday 23rd September and the Hayes campus on Wednesday 24th September, to help welcome students to the 2025–26 academic year.
It offered a vibrant and engaging platform for us to connect with both new and returning students, raising awareness about the importance of health, wellbeing and community involvement. Our team were on hand to promote volunteering opportunities for young people keen to give back, develop valuable skills and make a positive impact in their local area.
A key focus of our presence was to recruit Community Champion Volunteers, young advocates who will help share vital health messages across Hillingdon. It was truly inspiring to see so many students express interest in volunteering.
We also invited students to take part in our health survey. Their feedback will play a crucial role in helping us understand the challenges they face and how we can better support them.
A big thank you to Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges for hosting us and to all the students who stopped by our stall, asked questions and got involved. Your energy and commitment to community wellbeing are what make events like this so impactful.
